Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

Elmira Corning Regional Airport has one security checkpoint located on the main level of the terminal building. It is easily accessible from the ticketing and baggage claim areas. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

Fast Track Lanes are not available at Elmira Airport. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows them to expedite the security screening process. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA PreCheck can use the dedicated screening lane and do not need to remove their shoes, belts, or light jackets. ELM Airport does not have international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations at the airport. However, passengers traveling to international destinations will go through passport and immigration control at their arrival airport.

Global Entry Locations

Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. At ELM, there is no Global Entry enrollment center available. However, travelers can visit nearby enrollment centers in Syracuse or Buffalo to apply for Global Entry. It is important to note that an appointment is required for enrollment, and there is a fee associated with the application process.
