Airport Terminal Layout
ATL Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world and has a total of 7 terminals, including the Domestic Terminal and 6 concourses labeled A-F. The Domestic Terminal is located in the center of the airport and is connected to the concourses via an underground pedestrian walkway. Concourse T is located on the west side of the airport and is connected to the Domestic Terminal via a SkyTrain, which runs 24/7.
Concourses A-D are located on the east side of the airport and Concourses E and F are located on the west side. Each concourse has its own security checkpoint and baggage claim area. Concourse F is the newest addition to the airport and is exclusively used by Delta airlines.
Overview of Terminals
The Domestic Terminal is the hub of the airport and serves passengers traveling within the United States. It is home to a variety of restaurants, shops, and services, including a Delta Sky Club lounge. Concourse T serves international flights and has its own customs and immigration facilities. Concourses A-F serve a variety of airlines and destinations.
Getting Between Terminals
To get between the Domestic Terminal and Concourse T, passengers can take the SkyTrain, which runs every 2-3 minutes and takes approximately 5 minutes to travel between terminals. To get between the concourses, passengers can use the underground pedestrian walkway or take the Plane Train, which runs inside the airport and stops at each concourse. The Plane Train runs 24/7 and is one of the fastest ways to get between the concourses.
