Transportation to Other Concourses

The Plane Train, accessible on level 0, is a reliable mode of transportation within ATL, functioning around the clock and setting off every 2 minutes. To access it, one can take an escalator or elevator down to the designated level where clear signage directs passengers to the Plane Train. This train operates on a loop spanning 3 miles, providing a link between the domestic terminal (at the baggage claim area) and Concourse F (international terminal), with stops at Concourses T, A, B, C, D, and E. Each station is equipped with a countdown timer to indicate the arrival of the next train, and informative announcements along with maps onboard assist passengers in planning their journey.

Alternatively, for those who prefer a leisurely walk, the transportation mall on level 0 offers a pedestrian route with the addition of moving walkways to ease the journey. This path also features captivating art installations and historical exhibits to enjoy along the way. Signage around the airport suggests a walking time of 5 minutes between concourses, with the exception of a 10-minute walk from Concourse E to F. For instance, a walk from Concourse A to F is estimated to take about 35 minutes, in contrast to the brief transit time on the Plane Train. Upon arrival at your destined concourse, escalators or elevators will transport you to departures (level 2) where you can proceed to your gate. While the concourses do not have moving walkways, electronic carts are on hand to assist passengers facing mobility challenges.
