Getting Around the Airport
The terminal building structure at the Dayton airport consists of one main terminal building with two concourses: Concourse A and Concourse B. It is a U-shaped structure with both concourses on either sides of a centralized security checkpoint.

The Main terminal is a U-shaped two-story building.
The ground level houses the ticket/check-in area to the right of the terminal entrance and the Arrivals area to the left. On the immediate right of the entrance, there is an information/concierge desk with a nearby ATM. Ticketing counters for Delta, United, Allegiant, and American airlines are available, with FFAC (Friends and Family Assistance Centre) in the corner. Towards the left there are baggage claim carousels with baggage offices for Delta, American, and United. Flight information screens and seatings are available throughout on both sides. There is a centralized TSA security checkpoint on the left of which there is USO, courtesy phones, and vending machines.
The upper level offers food & drink and retail concessions, the Business Travel Center, as well as a TSA facility. Other services include ATMs, water stations, flight information screens, and a combined area for men, women, and family. This level has access to the two concourse areas.

Concourse A of the DAY airport houses the terminal gates which can be accessed by the security checkpoint. There are 14 gates in total, labelled as gate A10 to A18, and A20 - A26. Services inside this concourse include water stations, AHA kiosk, shopping and dining options, and charging stations.

Concourse B of the DAY airport houses the terminal gates which can be accessed by the security checkpoint. There are 6 gates in total, labelled as gate B11, B13, B15, B17-B19. Services inside this concourse include shopping and dining options, water filling stations, mother’s room, and a charging stations.

Food, Shops & Amenities
There are many options for shopping and dining around DAY airport. Some notable shops and restaurants include Max & Erma’s and CNBC News in the Main Terminal; Starbucks, 12th Fairway Bar and Grill, and Wright Stop TravelMart in Concourse A; and MVP Bar and Grill and Dayton Marketplace in Concourse B.
The security checkpoints at DAY airport are monitored by the Federal TSA - Transportation Security Administration. Only passengers possessing tickets are allowed to proceed beyond any of the security checkpoints. The security checkpoints provide access to the concourses and airplane gates.

The USO Lounge can be found in the main terminal next to the new restrooms. It is a place where all passengers can find comfort.
- Print your boarding passes beforehand or use electronic boarding passes to save time
- Get all information regarding baggage sizes, airline schedule, curbside pickup/dropoff, or wheelchairs, prior to reaching the airport
- Check with your respective airlines for the baggage limit and other related rules
- Keep an itinerary at home for your family and friends to be able to reach you in case of any emergencies
