Getting Around DAY Airport
DAY Airport features a single terminal with two concourses, Concourse A and Concourse B. Concourse A is equipped with 12 jet bridges, while Concourse B has 8. This setup helps you navigate the airport with relative ease, as all gates are centrally located off the main terminal. Signage is clear and helps direct you to your desired concourse and gate.

- Fixed-base operators provide various services including general maintenance and aircraft parking, which can be useful if you're involved in private or corporate aviation.

Security & Screening

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The airport has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the center of the main terminal, near the ticket counters. There are also additional security checkpoints located at the entrances to Concourse A and Concourse B. These checkpoints are easily accessible and well-marked, so passengers can easily find their way to their departure gates.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
DAY offers a Fast Track program for passengers who want to expedite their security screening process. The Fast Track lanes are located at the main security checkpoint in the center of the main terminal. These lanes are reserved for passengers who have purchased Fast Track access or who are members of certain frequent flyer programs. The Fast Track program allows passengers to bypass the regular security lines and get through security screening more quickly.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Dayton James Cox Airport has a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility for international arrivals. The CBP facility is located in the main terminal, near baggage claim. Passengers arriving on international flights must go through passport and immigration control at this facility. The airport also has Global Entry kiosks for expedited passport control for pre-approved travelers.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Dayton Airport offers both TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to help expedite the security screening process for travelers. TSA Pre allows eligible passengers to enjoy a faster, more efficient screening experience by keeping on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and leaving laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. TSA Pre is available for U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents. Travelers can apply for TSA Pre online or in-person at an enrollment center.

Global Entry Locations
DAY Airport is not currently a Global Entry enrollment center, but there are several locations nearby where travelers can complete their Global Entry application and interview. The closest Global Entry enrollment center is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, approximately 50 miles from the airport. Other nearby enrollment centers include Indianapolis, Indiana and Columbus, Ohio. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application, pay a fee, and undergo a background check and interview.
CLEAR Lane Locations

Baggage Claim Areas
Dayton Airport has three baggage claim areas located in the main terminal. Baggage claim for Concourse A is located on the east end of the terminal, while Concourse B's baggage claim is on the west end. The main terminal's baggage claim is located in the center of the terminal. Each baggage claim area has monitors displaying flight information and carousel numbers to help passengers locate their luggage. Baggage carts are available for use near the baggage claim areas.
