Getting Around the Airport
Norfolk International Airport is the only airport serving northeast North Carolina and coastal Virginia. This airport is served by Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest and United Airlines.
Main Terminal
Norfolk International Terminal has two passenger concourses: Concourse A and Concourse B.

Concourse A
Gates A1-A11 are located on Concourse A. American Airlines and Southwest Airlines occupy this concourse.
Concourse B
Gates B16-B30 are located on Concourse B. Allegiant Air, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines, and United Airlines occupy this concourse. Gates B22 and B26 are no longer in use.
Food, Shops & Amenities
There are various shopping and dining options inside both concourse areas of the airport.
Concourse B has La Brea Bakery, Wild Garlic Pizza & Pub, Peet's Coffee & Tea, and Tahoe Taphouse.
Concourse C has Subway, La Brea Bakery, Wild Garlic Pizza & Pub, Tap & Pour, and Peet's Coffee & Tea.
Post-security lobby has Back Bay Bistro, James River Grill, and Here’s To The Heroes for dining and Hudson News, Tech On The Go, and Discover Hampton Roads for shopping.
Pre-security area has Burger King, Starbucks, Proudly Serving Seattle’s Best, and The Local @ ORF, and Sweet Indulgences, FAO Schwarz, and Hudson for shopping.
Terminal Tips
- Passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to account for TSA security wait times and any possible delays.
- To ensure a smooth check-in process, passengers should pack carry-on luggage in a suitable manner, have photo ID ready, and read all the airline guidelines properly prior to arriving at the airport.
- No unattended baggage will be allowed inside the terminal building. You must keep your bags with you at all times.
