Airport Terminal Layout
The airport has three terminals: Concourse A, Concourse B, and the Main Terminal. The Main Terminal is the largest and houses most of the airport's amenities, including baggage claim, ticketing, and security checkpoints. Concourse A and B are smaller and primarily used for boarding and disembarking flights.

The Main Terminal at ORF is the hub of activity for passengers. It houses a variety of dining options, including fast food and sit-down restaurants, as well as several shops for last-minute travel needs. There is also a USO Lounge available for military personnel and their families.
Concourse A and B are primarily used for boarding and disembarking flights. They have fewer amenities than the Main Terminal, but still offer a few dining options and shops for travelers.
Getting Between Terminals
As Norfolk Airport is relatively small, there is no need for a shuttle or tram to get between terminals. The Main Terminal is connected to Concourse A and B via a covered walkway, so passengers can easily walk between the terminals. However, if you have limited mobility or require assistance, the airport does offer wheelchair assistance and electric carts to transport passengers between terminals.

For food and shopping, head to the Main Terminal where you'll find a variety of options. Grab a coffee and pastry from Dunkin' Donuts or a sandwich from Jersey Mike's Subs. If you're in the mood for something heartier, check out the full-service restaurant, James River Grill, which offers a variety of American cuisine. For shopping, there are several options including Hudson News, which offers snacks, magazines, and souvenirs, and Tech on the Go, which sells electronics and accessories for your travels.
Aside from food and shopping, ORF Airport also offers a range of amenities to make your travel experience more comfortable. There are charging stations throughout the airport to keep your devices powered up, as well as free Wi-Fi to stay connected. If you need to freshen up, there are restrooms and a nursing room available. Additionally, the airport offers a pet relief area for furry travelers.
Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The Norfolk Airport has security checkpoints located in both Concourse A and Concourse B. Passengers can access these checkpoints after checking in for their flight and passing through the TSA PreCheck or standard security lines. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for the security process.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The Norfolk Airport offers a Fast Track program for passengers who want to expedite their security screening process. The Fast Track lanes are located in Concourse A and Concourse B, and are available to passengers who have purchased a Fast Track pass or are members of a participating airline's frequent flyer program. The Fast Track pass allows passengers to bypass the standard security lines and access a dedicated lane for faster screening. Passengers can purchase a Fast Track pass online or at the airport.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The passport and immigration control locations at the Norfolk Airport are located in the Main Terminal. Passengers arriving on international flights will need to pass through passport control and customs before exiting the airport. The passport control area is staffed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers who will verify passengers' travel documents and process their entry into the United States. It is recommended that passengers arriving on international flights allow extra time for the passport and immigration control process.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
The airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints for the convenience of passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for low-risk passengers. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA Pre Check can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their bags. TSA Pre Check is available at select security checkpoints at ORF.
Global Entry Locations
Norfolk Airport has a Global Entry Enrollment Center located in the main terminal, near the baggage claim area. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To enroll in Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and attend an in-person interview at an enrollment center. The Global Entry Enrollment Center at Norfolk Airport makes it easy for travelers to complete the enrollment process before their next international trip.

Airport Lounge Locations
ORF Airport offers a variety of lounges for travelers to relax and unwind before their flight. The American Airlines Admirals Club is located in Concourse A, near Gate A18. This lounge offers comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and free Wi-Fi.
The Delta Sky Club is located in Concourse B, near Gate B9. This lounge features a full-service bar, a variety of snacks and light meals, and comfortable seating with charging stations. Additionally, the Priority Pass Lounge is located in the Main Terminal, near the security checkpoint. This lounge is accessible to members of the Priority Pass program and offers comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and free Wi-Fi.
Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at the airport, passengers can easily locate the baggage claim areas in each terminal. Concourse A and B both have their own baggage claim areas, while the Main Terminal has two baggage claim areas located on the lower level. Each baggage claim area is clearly marked with signs and monitors displaying flight information and carousel numbers. Baggage carts are available for use in the baggage claim areas for a small fee.
Luggage Cart Availability
Travelers can easily access luggage carts at ORF for a small fee. Carts are available in the baggage claim areas of each terminal, as well as in the parking garages and rental car center. The cost for a luggage cart is $5, payable by credit card or cash. For added convenience, carts are equipped with a built-in scale to help travelers avoid overweight baggage fees.
Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)
For travelers in need of luggage storage options, Norfolk Airport offers a convenient Left Luggage service. Located in the Main Terminal, the Left Luggage facility allows travelers to securely store their luggage for a daily fee. Rates start at $10 per day for small bags and increase based on bag size. The facility is open daily from 6am to 10pm, and reservations can be made in advance online or by phone.
