Getting Around the Airport
Reno-Tahoe Airport is a public and military airport located three miles (6 km) southeast of downtown Reno, in Washoe County, Nevada, United States. It is the gateway to Reno’s casinos and is only a 30-minute drive from the Sierra Nevada mountains and the year-round recreational playground of Lake Tahoe, which is 20 miles east of the Airport.
RNO is named after both the City of Reno, Nevada, and Lake Tahoe. It is owned and operated by the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority.
Main Terminal
Reno-Tahoe International Airport provides two concourses designated B and C with an overall 23 jet bridge gates.
First floor has baggage claim counters on the left and ticket counters on the right. Outside there are ground transportation and rental car services. Passenger services include airport mailers, ATM, animal relief, defibrillators, information centre, FedEx dropbox, River Room (meeting space), restrooms, Smart Carte, USPS, and wheelchair services.
First floor has a security checkpoint leading to the B Concourse on the right and the C Concourse on the left. Passenger services inside both concourse areas include ATMs, animal relief, defibrillators, an Escape Lounge, massage chairs, productivity centres, and restrooms.
Concourse B
Concourse B has gates B1 - B10.
Passenger services inside both concourse areas include ATMs, animal relief, defibrillators, an Escape Lounge, massage chairs, productivity centres, and restrooms.
Concourse C
Concourse C has gates C1 - C10.
Passenger services inside both concourse areas include ATMs, animal relief, defibrillators, an Escape Lounge, massage chairs, productivity centres, and restrooms.
Food, Shops & Amenities
There are various shopping and dining options inside both concourse areas of the airport.
Concourse B has La Brea Bakery, Wild Garlic Pizza & Pub, Peet's Coffee & Tea, and Tahoe Taphouse.
Concourse C has Subway, La Brea Bakery, Wild Garlic Pizza & Pub, Tap & Pour, and Peet's Coffee & Tea.
Post-security lobby has Vino Volo, Verdi Market, Escape Lounge, Timber Ridge, McDonald's
Pre-security area has a Mountain House Diner.
Terminal Tips
- Passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to account for TSA security wait times and any possible delays.
- To ensure a smooth check-in process, passengers should pack carry-on luggage in a suitable manner, have photo ID ready, and read all the airline guidelines properly prior to arriving at the airport.
- No unattended baggage will be allowed inside the terminal building. You must keep your bags with you at all times.
