The first checkpoint is located near the Delta Airlines ticket counter, and the second checkpoint is located near the United Airlines ticket counter. Passengers are advised to arrive at least two hours before their flight departure time to allow enough time for security screening.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

The Savannah Hilton Head Airport offers a TSA PreCheck program that allows eligible passengers to use the fast track lanes for security screening. The Savannah Hilton Head Airport has a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility located in the main terminal's baggage claim area. Passengers arriving from international destinations are required to go through the CBP facility for passport and immigration control. The CBP facility is open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Passengers are advised to have all necessary travel documents ready for inspection upon arrival.

TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints

At SAV, passengers can expect to find TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints located at the main terminal. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for pre-approved, low-risk travelers.
