Airport Terminal Layout
SAV Airport has one main terminal building with two concourses – Concourse A and Concourse B. The terminal building is split into two levels – arrivals and departures. The arrivals level is on the ground floor and the departures level is on the upper floor. Both levels have a variety of services and amenities for passengers to enjoy.
Overview of Terminals
The main terminal building at the airport is modern and spacious, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating areas. Concourse A and Concourse B are both connected to the main terminal building via a central atrium. Concourse A is home to gates 1-7 and Concourse B is home to gates 8-14. The airport is relatively small, so navigating between gates and services is easy and straightforward.
Getting Between Terminals
As the airport only has one main terminal building, there is no need to transfer between different terminals. However, if you need to move between Concourse A and Concourse B, there is a central atrium that connects the two concourses. The atrium has a variety of shops, restaurants, and seating areas, making it a pleasant place to spend time while waiting for your flight.
Food, Shops & Services
At Hilton Head Airport, travelers can enjoy a variety of food and shopping options. The main terminal houses several restaurants and cafes, including Starbucks, Burger King, and Dewar's Clubhouse. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a full meal, there's something for everyone.
In addition to food and shopping, the airport also offers a range of amenities to make your travel experience more comfortable. There are several ATMs located throughout the terminal, as well as a currency exchange service for international travelers. For those in need of a little relaxation, there is a massage bar where you can unwind before your flight. The airport also provides free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal, so you can stay connected while you wait for your flight.
For those who need to do some last-minute shopping, there are several retail stores located in the main terminal. From souvenir shops to bookstores, there's something for everyone. And if you need to pick up any travel essentials, there is a convenience store located near the gates.
Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The Savannah Hilton Head Airport has two security checkpoints located on the main terminal's first floor. The first checkpoint is located near the Delta Airlines ticket counter, and the second checkpoint is located near the United Airlines ticket counter. Passengers are advised to arrive at least two hours before their flight departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The Savannah Hilton Head Airport offers a TSA PreCheck program that allows eligible passengers to use the fast track lanes for security screening. The TSA PreCheck lanes are available at both security checkpoints in the main terminal. Additionally, the airport offers a CLEAR program that provides expedited security screening for members. CLEAR members can use a dedicated lane at the security checkpoint, allowing them to skip the regular security line. The CLEAR program is available at the main terminal's first-floor security checkpoint.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The Savannah Hilton Head Airport has a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility located in the main terminal's baggage claim area. Passengers arriving from international destinations are required to go through the CBP facility for passport and immigration control. The CBP facility is open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Passengers are advised to have all necessary travel documents ready for inspection upon arrival.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At SAV, passengers can expect to find TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints located at the main terminal. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for pre-approved, low-risk travelers. This program allows passengers to keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and keep their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. TSA Pre Check is available for US citizens and lawful permanent residents, as well as members of the US Armed Forces. To enroll in TSA Pre Check, passengers can apply online or visit an enrollment center.
Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States. At Savannah Hilton Head Airport, passengers can find Global Entry locations at the main terminal. To enroll in Global Entry, passengers must complete an online application and schedule an interview at a Global Entry enrollment center. Once approved, members can use automated kiosks to complete their entry into the United States. Global Entry is available to US citizens, US lawful permanent residents, and citizens of select countries with which the US has trusted traveler agreements.

This lounge offers comfortable seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a selection of snacks and beverages. Another option is the USO Lounge, which is available to active duty military members and their families. This lounge is located in the baggage claim area of the main terminal and offers a quiet space to rest and relax.

Passengers can easily locate the carts by looking for the signs that indicate their location. The airport has a sufficient number of carts to meet the needs of all passengers.
Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)
SAV does not have a left luggage facility for passengers to store their luggage. However, there are several options available for passengers who need to store their luggage.
