Getting Between Terminals
As the airport only has one terminal building, there is no need for passengers to transfer between terminals. However, if you need to travel to another airport or city, there are several ground transportation options available. Taxis and rental cars can be arranged in advance or on arrival at the airport. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The airport has one security checkpoint located in the main terminal building. The airport advises passengers to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time to allow for enough time to pass through security.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Unfortunately, ART does not currently offer any fast track lanes for passengers. However, the airport does offer TSA PreCheck, which allows eligible passengers to use expedited screening lanes. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA PreCheck can use the designated lanes and do not need to remove their shoes, belts, or light jackets. The TSA PreCheck lane is located at the main security checkpoint in the terminal building.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Watertown Airport does not have any international flights, therefore there are no passport or immigration control locations at the airport. All flights departing from Watertown Airport are domestic flights within the United States. However, passengers are still required to present a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, at the security checkpoint before boarding their flight.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
ART Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints available for passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to receive expedited screening at security checkpoints. This program allows passengers to keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and keep their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To participate in TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved through the TSA Pre Check application program. The TSA checkpoint at the airport is located near the main entrance of the terminal.
Global Entry Locations
ART does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center. However, there are several enrollment centers located within driving distance of the airport. The closest enrollment center is located in Syracuse, NY, which is approximately 70 miles from Watertown Airport. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To participate in Global Entry, passengers must apply and be approved through the Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) and complete an in-person interview at an enrollment center.

Airport Lounge Locations

Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)
ART does not offer luggage storage facilities or left luggage services. However, passengers can make use of the baggage carts available throughout the terminal to transport their luggage while they wait for their flight. Alternatively, there are several hotels near the airport that offer luggage storage services for a fee.
