Grand Forks Airport ( GFK ) Terminal Map Information


The 'Byron L. Dorgan' passenger terminal at Grand Forks International Airport opened 2011. It opens 3 hours prior to first morning departure, while the TSA checkpoint opens 60 mins before.  Ticketing counters are open 90mins prior to scheduled departure.
Amenities and services inside the terminal include the Red River Valley Tap House and the Red River Market (tel. 701-738-4630) in both pre- and post-security areas (also offering gifts, magazines, sundries, snacks and more),  free WiFi access throughout the terminal, and rental car counters (off-airport rental cars are available from Enterprise (1-800-251-7331). A pet relief area is near the airline check-in door and near gate 2. For Lost & Found call 701-795-6981.
The Terminal - one of only a handful of US terminals - received LEED Silver sustainable certification - humidity is controlled by outdoor air systems delivering fresh air; temperatures are regulated staying between 68-72 degrees year-round, and Terminal water usage decreased by 43 percent!

Transportation: There is no direct public transport service available from the Airport.  You can take either a rental car, a taxi, or hotel shuttle to the city.  The Amtrak train & other city buses will pick up from there.

- The Amtrak train station is in Grand Forks.
- Bakken-bound travelers:  Amtrak runs daily  trains between Grand Fork & Minot, and on to Williston (you may have to change trains).  For more information visit:
