Advance check-in for cruise travelers
(a) 'Advance Check-In' is located near baggage claim belt 1 on the Lower Level (tel. 1-877-467-8898). Travelers flying into New Orleans can have their luggage forwarded directly from the New Orleans Airport to the cruise ship or local hotel. This service is also available for travelers wishing to have their luggage transferred from the cruise ship or hotel to the airport at the end of their trip to New Orleans.
(b) 'Rush It' also offers full service cruise ship check-in from their Airport Office and can transport your luggage from the Airport to the Cruise Ship with advance check-in on the ship. For more information, contact a baggage coordinator at (504) 471-0080.
The Delta Crown Room is located between gates 2 & 4 on Concourse D.

Lost & Found
The Customer Service Department retains items that have been lost in the public areas of the terminal (with the exception of the concourse checkpoints which is operated by the Transportation Security Administration or TSA). The office is located on the Upper Level in the Concourse C Lobby near the Airport Police. Lost and Found is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. You can contact them at (504) 303-7790.
Items that have been turned in to Lost and Found are kept for 1 year. The Airport is not responsible for charges incurred by shipping lost items to the rightful owner. Exceptions to the 1-year retention period: Items that are knowingly abandoned by a passenger will be logged in to the system and then donated to a charitable organization after 24 hours. ID's and/or Driver's Licenses will be mailed to the address on the ID after 7 days.
Credit or debit cards will be destroyed after 24 hours. Military ID's will be mailed to the US Armed Forces after 7 days. Passports and/or global entry cards will be turned over to US Customs after 7 days. Social Security Cards will be mailed to the Social Security Department after 7 days. Any food items will be disposed of immediately. Items that have a foul odor will be disposed of after 24 hours.
Persons losing items in the airline exclusive areas (i.e. ticket counters, gate areas, or airplanes) should check with that particular airline's baggage office located on the Lower Level. For items that may have been left at the security checkpoints, please contact the TSA Support Operations Center at 504-463-2252.

Pets
Pets are not allowed inside the terminal complex, unless in a kennel - with the exception of working dogs on a leash.
A Pet Relief area for Working Dogs is in a small grassy area of the short-term parking garage across from the terminal (exit through the baggage claim level - near the rental car counters).

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the Terminal. However, designated smoking locations are on the upper and lower ramps outside the terminal.
International Travelers at New Orleans Louis Armstrong MSY Airport
All international arrivals - with the exception of those who went through U.S. Customs clearance at participating airports - need to go through passport control, pick up their bags and go with them through Customs clearance . If they continue their journey they need to re-check-in their bags where indicated, before proceeding to to their connecting flight's gate.
